I just ordered through yelp/grubhub at the beach I waited not knowing the driver couldn't enter the beach entrance I was able to get ahold of the customer service and they were great I was able to meet up with the driver at the entrance of the beach. I appreciate him for waiting and not leaving! The food was definitely worth the wait Especially the burger!

I have dined here 2 times previously, 2021, 2022, and today. I thought already reviewed this spot, but it isn't showing. Anyway, my review would have been the same(5 stars). The burgers are amazingly delicious and so hearty. The owner(I am guessing) is the grey haired gentleman, and is so friendly and passionate about his restaurant. He strives for excellence in his service and quality of food. I was with 7 others and everyone loved their burgers. I was so hungry that I didn't take a picture of my food. You must try Pocket Burger!

SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS! A couple in our group wanted to try this place based on a flyer they received on their car, so some of us (including me) were skeptical. I'm so glad we went. The service was great, the burgers were off the chart good, and you get great value for your $$$. I'll definitely be back if I'm anywhere near the area.

absolutely the best breakfast burritos in huntington beach. they are HUMONGOUS and equally delicious. I love their array of options. I always opt for Spam but they have 4-5 different chorizo choices alone. Their salsas have great flavor. the burritos come with egg/meat/tots or home fries/bell peppers/onions/sour cream & pico de gallo-so if you don't watch the veggies just tell them! :) I absolutely need to come for their other incredible options but genuinely crave their breakfast burritos throughout the week. they also have fresh served juices to offer. their patio is small and parking is limited but it adds to the local beach/surf stop feel. while I haven't brought my pups they have treats for them, and on the day before mother's day they were throwing an event down the street with a dog food vendor & they were serving puppicinos to celebrate fur mommas. Lastly, they are so kind and welcoming. When I call, they thank me for my order & each time I have come they have greeted me with a smile. one of those local business you hope NEVER leaves.

Bacon Breakfast burrito out of this world. Hangover necessity. Pocket burger also tasty. Got chicken salad for my mother, looked super fresh and tasty as well.

I finally stopped by Pocket Burger Shack to try their breakfast and lunch - boy, I was disappointed in myself that I hadn't tried them sooner; the food is so delicious and fresh, with even a little bit of a spicy kick to it, too! The first time I tried Pocket Burger Shack was with my best friend. We were lured in to Pocket Shack as we drove by PCH and saw their breakfast burritos sign - we knew it was a sign and that we just had to stop and try their breakfast burritos! We both ordered a breakfast burrito and also split the chilaquiles to try them together. The service was very fast - our order was ready within 10 minutes and the owner, Daniel filled us in on his journey with Pocket Burger Shack! I absolutely loved the spices in the breakfast burrito and chilaquiles, I couldn't wait to come back for lunch! Daniel told us that his manager makes the salsa Verde from scratch - what a gem of a find in Sunset! I absolutely love everything about this beach shack - from the friendly service, to the fresh food, and of course I love that it's a short walk to actually enjoy your meal on the sand. So after my breakfast adventure here, I had to come back and order lunch to go for my mom and I. Just as before, the experience was so friendly and seamless. I loved walking into pocket shack to pick up my order, with a nice breeze from the sand and tables full of happy customers. This time we ordered the pocket burger, grilled chicken salad and the kids chicken tender meal. I tried their regular fries and garlic fries - both were hot, crispy, fresh and the garlic was freshly grated and there was plenty of it on my garlic fries! The pocket burger was amazingly seasoned, while the chicken salad was HUGE with fresh chopped crispy veggies and the chicken tenders were fresh and crispy. I've loved all my food adventures at Pocket Burger Shack and I'm looking forward to my next meal here. So far my favorites are their: Pocket Burger, garlic fries, chilaquiles, breakfast burrito and chicken tenders. This is a very small shack in Sunset Beach. I was worried about parking since it's such a small shack, but there's actually a residence area with a small parking lot in the back. There was a bunch of spots open but maybe that's because we were there at around 9:10am. Both my brother and I got their signature Pocket Burger and paid extra to upgrade them both to garlic fries. Our total bill came out to $37.38 (includes tax). Even though we were the only ones there, it took them a long time to make our order. Thus, I imagine that this is a busy place where people just make to go orders for pick up. There is no indoor seating so we ate at one of the benches outside. I wish they cleaned up the benches as they were somewhat dirty. The pocket burgers comes with their special sauce, 1/3 lb beef, mayo, avocado, fried egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, and provolone cheese. It was definitely very tasty. The garlic fries were above average quality.

After a decade of driving by this spot I finally ordered an OC Burger via the Yelp app for pickup. That was a pretty seamless experience. On arrival I confirmed they had the order. Ten minutes later and I was presented with a box with my OC Burger and fries inside. I just live down the road so I ate it at home. Fries were perfect, crunchy and nicely spiced. The burger was really good, very tasty. It came with jalapeños to add some kick and a little burn - perfect! Service was really good. The OC Burger, which comes with fries, cost just under $14. I'm definitely down to come back and try more items on the menu!
